Where are we?
IEEE SZABIST student branch comes in Region 10 (Asia and Pacific) under the Karachi Section. It holds events related to computer software and particiaptes in other national and regional level activities.
History
IEEE SZABIST student branch was re-initiated at the university level in 2007 by Final year students (the graduates of BSCS year 2008). The IEEE SZABIST student branch was re-activated in Nov 2008 by the new IEEE SZABIST team having Dr. Imran Amin (PhD. Assitant Professor at SZABIST) as the branch counselor.

Seminars Seminars are held twice in a semester with the aim of awareness of theemerging technologies and tools related to programming, software development etc. Seminars to help students enhance their management skills are also organized. |
Workshops Workshops related to programming languages, software tools and other computer realted activities. |

General Meetings General meetings are held bi-weekly to discuss the matters and to make plans for the upcoming events. |
Competitions Web development, software development and other computer related competitions are held to encourage students to learn, and show their talent. |

Official membership development Programs To be an offcial IEEE student member has many benefits for section activities as well as international activities. So official membership development campaigns are held to increase the awareness of the official membership. |
Exhibition Exhibitions are held for students to learn, share knowledge and get eposure. |
